MINIMUM COMPUTER REQUIREMENTS - 200mhz OR HIGHER
If you are interested in donating to our organization, please don’t hesitate to contact us and we will arrange a dropoff time. We also accept items shipped to us using any means of shipping. If the computer is in Manhattan, and you would like to drop it off, we will gladly pay for your taxi fare [please obtain a receipt]. If you are willing to pack the computer, we will gladly have UPS pick up your donation. For corporate donations [10 or more units] we can send a pickup van at your convenience.
ACCEPTABLE DONATIONS
Computers - Computer towers, desktops, laptops, notebooks, and old servers. We accept all makes, models, years, and working and non-working computers, from speeds of 200mhz and up. The condition of the computer or parts is not important as long as we can restore it to working order.
Processing Cards - Memory, video cards, sound cards.
Parts - Computer cases, CD-ROM drives, floppy drives, hard drives, zip drive, processing fans, and power supplies. If you have any spare parts you don't need because you upgraded your computer, please consider donating them to us. We are great need of spare parts [especially old memory].
Peripherals and Supplies - Printers, ink, paper, scanners, monitors, external hard drives, keyboards, mice, surge protectors.
Software is needed for each and every computer. Each computer must have a licensed copy of its own version of Windows (R) installed. We accept donations of all software applications. We are in need of all types of software, from office software to children's games. |
